Wishing You A Charmed Little Christmas!

Hi Everyone!

Jake and I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the Best in 2013!  To all my customers, family, friends ... and new friends, I have met this year, "Thank You" for loving my art, encouraging me, and sharing in this wonderful new venture I call Charmed Confections!

Jake and I are finished with the preparations and we are ready to celebrate with our loved ones.  This will be Jake's first Christmas and he is doing it up right in his little elf hat.  He is all ready to go visit Grandma and Grandpa, as we are spending Christmas at their house.  He looks a little preoccupied in this picture ... must be visions of sugar plums going round his head ... or maybe he's just embarrassed by the hat.    :)

Regardless, we wanted to send you all some love today and hope that you make a lot of wonderful memories this holiday season.  As I look back on this year, so much has happened in my life.  I am so very grateful for all the blessings God has given me (including Jake).  Take time to hug your family tight, count your blessings and keep the true meaning of Christmas alive in your heart everyday!

May God bless you always!

XOXOXO -  LeeAnn & Jake

My New Favorite Christmas Song! (We'll maybe my second.)

Hi Everyone!

Christmas is fast approaching and I wanted to share a little ditty with you all, as I had never heard this until I heard it sung at my daughter's high school winter concert!  It is a funny take-off of The Twelve Days of Christmas!  Just don't ask me to sing it to you.  :)

The first day after Christmas my true love and I had a fight,

And so I chopped the pear tree down and burned it just for spite.

Then with a single cartridge, I shot that blasted partridge,

My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.

The second day after Christmas, I pulled on the old rubber gloves,

And very gently wrung the necks of both the turtle doves.

My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.

The third day after Christmas, my mother caught the croup;

I had to use the three French hens to make some chicken soup.

The four calling birds were a big mistake,

for their language was obscene.

The five gold rings were completely fake and they turned my fingers green .

The sixth day after Christmas, the six laying geese wouldn't lay,

I gave the whole darn gaggle to the A.S.P.C.A.

On the seventh day what a mess I found,

All seven of the swimming swans had drowned.

My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.

The eighth day after Christmas, before they could suspect,

I bundled up the eight maids a milking, nine pipers piping, Ten ladies dancing, Eleven lords a leaping, Twelve drummers drumming and sent them back collect.

I wrote my true love, "We are through, love",

and I said in so many words,

"Furthermore your Christmas gifts were for the birds!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!  I laughed so hard when the choir sang it!  I am sure we could all use a little giggle about now.

I also would like to shout out to my favorite girl in the whole world - my daughter, Valerie!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!  I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!  You are my Magnum Opus ... MY GREAT WORK!  The best thing I ever did or will ever make (with the help of God and your Dad!)  XOXOXO

Merry Christmas everyone!  (Two more days to shop! -- Hurry!)

Christmas Ornament Blog Hop Ending Soon / Thoughts for the day.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that our multi-artist blog hop will be ending Sunday, December 16th at 5pm pacific time.  There is still  time left to enter.  I would like to thank all those who signed up for this giveaway and to wish each one of you a very blessed Christmas and New Year.

In the wake of the tragedy yesterday, all this seems senseless.  Please pray for the families and especially, all the children.  As a mother, my heart is broken ... as a human being who loves her fellow man, my heart is broken still.

**************************************************************************

As most of you know Pfatt Marketplace updates its offering on Monday, December 10th.  Gee!  December 10th is a busy day!  I am excited to present to you my offering for the month of December.

I would like for you to meet Mr. Snow -n- Flake (his sidekick)!  Another of my sweet Charmed Confections!  I hope you like them.  Mr. Snow is 13" tall and Flake is a tiny 2 1/2".  They are just too sweet to eat!  Every time I look at Flake, I hear him saying ... "Pick me up!!"

Mr. Snow's head has been hand sculpted from paperclay, sanded, painted and sealed for protection.  Do you see the tiny peppermints at the corners of his mouth?  Those are made from polymer clay!  Snow's body is made to look like a real cupcake.  So real, in fact, your kiddies will wish they can taste him.   Ah well ... he is made to last and his frosting is rock hard, but super pretty and glittery.  His cupcake wrapper is made out of cute Christmas paper and is laced up at the sides.  Mr. Snow sports a cute top hat with hand embossed paper flowers and a cozy red scarf and cuffs.   All handmade by little o'l me.

I need to make one of those top hats to fit my doggie Jake's head!  Too cute!   If you are interested in Snow -n- Flake, be the first one to email me on Monday, December 10th when you check out pfattmarketplace.com   The site updates at 10am pacific time!

Until then ... I hope you are all healthy, happy, and well loved!

XOXO LeeAnn (& Jake)
