Charmed Confections' News and Excitement!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all well and happy!  I am back with some exciting news!  Guess who is going to Seattle?  Me!!

I am so very excited to be part of the Hallowbaloo Halloween Art Show hosted by Dennis Haynes and Robert Eberz.  This is their first national Halloween art show in Seattle, Washington.  I can't wait to show off my new Halloween Charmed Confections and boy, have I been busy. (One of the reasons for the lack of blogging.)

If you are in the area, mark your calendars for September 20th and come see all the fabulous Halloween art!  As a collector myself, I can't wait - as an artist showing my creations, I am thrilled beyond measure!  I will be posting more details in the coming months.  Here is the site www.thehallowbaloo.com - would love to see you there!

Now for more exciting news!  I sent in some of my newest creations to Art Doll Quarterly Magazine and was thrilled to be selected as one of their featured artists in this coming August 2014 Halloween issue.  I will have seven of my pieces in the publication, along with an article!  Needless to say, I am over the moon!

Here is a sneak peek at a few of my pieces that will be in the publication!

Wanted to share some of my favorite web/blog sites!

www.creativepaperclay.blogspot.com --- Come and learn how to sculpt clay!  I am on the Design Team there, along with several other talented artists.  Great tips and tutorials!

www.witchesofgiggleswick@wildapricot.org ---  Come see all the wonderful Halloween / holiday items for sale!  We have a great team of talented artists creating wonderful one of a kinds items just for you!   Sign up for a free membership to the site and you will be notified when new art is posted.

www.etsy.com --- in the search bar type in the word FAAP  (this stands for Folk Art and Primitives).  A wonderful group of talented artists who create fabulous primitive and whimsical items.

When you get done looking at all the goodies under FAAP ... type in HAGUILD and see all the incredible offerings these artists have too!  You can be lost for hours!!  :)
